Basic Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, or assembly operations
  • Experience in low-volume, high-mix production environments
  • Strong understanding of shop floor practices, production planning, and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
  • Experience working with technicians, operators, and vendors
  • Comfortable using Excel and basic ERP/Jira/MES tools (preferred) 

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of production planning, material requirement planning (MRP), and demand-based scheduling
  • Experience working with engineering BOMs and managing revisions
  • Ability to track build schedules and proactively identify risks or shortages
  • Knowledge of supplier coordination, ordering processes, and delivery tracking
  • Familiarity with procurement workflows and vendor management
  • Understanding of low-volume, high-mix manufacturing challenges 
  • Exposure to robotics, automation, EVs, electronics, or electromechanical products (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SOP creation, line balancing, and process optimization
  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability
  • Practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Clear communication skills to work effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and vendor teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production plans based on demand forecasts and engineering BOMs
  • Track daily and weekly build progress and highlight risks or delays early
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and fabrication partners to meet production schedules
  • Ensure the timely availability of electrical, mechanical, and bought-out components
  • Work with approved suppliers for ordering, follow-ups, and delivery tracking
  • Support procurement processes, including documentation and coordination
  • Act as the link between hardware design, manufacturing, quality, and field teams
  • Support issue resolution related to material shortages, BOM changes, or production delays
  • Monitor material flow and inventory alignment with production plans
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and supply chain processes
  • Maintain accurate planning trackers, reports, and coordination updates
